RoyalCaribbean.com

Client: Royal Caribbean / Role: Creative Lead / Agency: Arnold Worldwide  / Date: December 2007

While working at Arnold, I was presented with the challenge of redesigning the homepage of royalcaribbean.com. This was a unique challenge, as the rest of the site was not changing, but the homepage was in dire need of a refresh. It was copy heavy and unorganized, making it difficult for Royal Caribbean to effectively communicate with visitors. Brighter colors and more imagery where brought into the homepage to liven up the feel of the brand as well as aid users with the flow of the page. I was the creative lead for this project, responsible for the overall vision of the homepage, seeing it from rough sketches through several rounds of reviews, and eventually client approval. I worked closely with a copywriter and information architecture to ensure that brand messaging was clear and wireframes where successful brought to life.

note: The live version of the site has long since been altered due to an agency of record change on Royal Caribbean’s behalf.
