While at The Barbarian Group, I spent the better part of a year and a half working as a creative lead on kashi.com. Perhaps one of the most exciting things I was a part of on this client was the refresh of this exciting and constantly growing community-driven site (300,000+ member and counting). For this refresh I worked super closely with another designer (the very talented Mr. Anthony Dines) on pretty much everything. Major changes included a revised header that was restructured to better reflect the growing content on kashi.com, as well as bring the personality of the Kashi brand to life, a robust “library” (natural learning section) where users could filter and sort through content, an image-rich recipes section that was before buried and hard to find, and a revamped lifestyle tools section, where tools are better explained and all much more accessible. We also worked hard to create an awesome and dynamic footer, as well as a more seamless sign up and login process. Oh, and the Kashi products are way easier to browse now too.
